Job Summary

Prepare all food based on standardized recipes for any assigned kitchen area, maintaining the highest levels to produce an appealing product. Responsible for ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and maximizing production cost ratios.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Comply with applicable certification requirements for the position, including Food Protection Certification.
  • Assist in menu design and recipe creation.
  • Complete station and food preparation before restaurant opening, ensuring good service and efficiency in operations.
  • Take responsibility for the preparation, preservation, and presentation of all food items offered in the establishment according to standardized recipes.
  • Be capable of following instructions to cook and serve well-prepared meals.
  • Be capable of working efficiently in the kitchen and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Keep work area clean and safe at all times.
  • Maintain their work area in perfect order.
  • Execute all instructions and tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, as well as additional responsibilities required by the position.

 

Minimum requirements of the position:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Advanced Culinary Fundamentals.
  • Flexible schedule (available to work overtime, day and night shifts, holidays, and weekends).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen.
