Housekeeping Room Attendant

Job Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of designated guest rooms, ensuring that they meet the company’s quality and satisfaction standards. This role is crucial in making sure our guests’ rooms are up to the highest cleanliness and comfort standards.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Cleaning guest rooms: Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning surfaces such as desks, tables, and windows.
  • Restocking supplies: Replenish toiletries, towels, linens, and other necessary items for guests.
  • Changing bed linens and towels: Change bed linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are always fresh and clean.
  • Bathroom cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs, and replenish necessary amenities.
  • Waste management: Collect and dispose of trash from rooms properly, following company standards.
  • Responding to guest requests: Respond to guest requests in a prompt and efficient manner, providing additional items or services as needed.
  • Maintenance reporting: Report any damage or maintenance needs in the rooms to ensure prompt repairs.
  • Compliance with safety standards: Follow all hotel safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
  • Team collaboration: Work together with other staff members to ensure a harmonious and efficient work environment.
  • Attend all required training sessions and daily, weekly, or monthly meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 

Minimum requirements of the position:

  • High School Diploma.
    Six months of experience in Housekeeping and/or related areas.
    • Flexible schedule (available to work overtime, day and night shifts, holidays, and weekends).
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Positive attitude and customer service-oriented.
